This is my card for the inspiration challenge and took me way too long to complete. I started it last night, but couldn't stay awake. I used the 3rd picture given (on right) as my inspiration and went with the colors - turquoise and rust, although the only rust I used was the flower centers.
The music is very old and fragile - so brittle, it was hard to distress the edges without it falling apart.
The front edge of the card is cut about 3/8" shorter than the back to allow for the ribbon, which is glued between two pieces of card stock.
The crochet flower is handmade - takes about 10 minutes.

GASP!!!!!! Melody!!!!!! This is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! I am so into sponging edges and distressing!!!!! Great colors, coloring, and love the whole LOOK!!!!! Beautifully done!!!!!
