I wanted to do a spring card for this week's sketch challenge. And this was a challenge. I really struggled with it. I like the sketch, but the design I came up with just didn't seem to have any zing to it. I ended up re-doing it three times and this was what I finally settled on. The last version included the micro beads which I have had for some time, but never used. The were easy to use and I like the look that I finally achieved. I just got this stamp and started playing with it last night. I really like your cards. I like the microbeads, but don't have any. Maybe I'll consider buying them now. Did you make the cross or is it a Cricut design?

Hi and thanks for your compliment on my card. For the cross, actually I was trying to do sketch SC212, but now that I look at it, I realize that I made the lengthwise panel too narrow to really qualify for that sketch - hence the cross-like design. I got the microbeads at Michael's with a 40% off coupon at Christmas intending to use them on a Christmas card, but it just never worked out. They are kind of fun to use as an embellishment occasionally.
Thanks again,
Linda
