We were asked to create a scene for this weeks Twisted Sister Challenge...I love this street scene that sistah Peggy (aka Marilyn Prestonn) sent me and it is perfect for this challenge. I chalked the image and SPONGED aound the edges, then 3Ded the carriage, but it is not showing up in the photo - so you are just going to have to take my word for it LOL!!! I inked the embossed background, I use this effect a lot, love the look that it gives.
My printer was unplugged so ended up writing the sentiment by hand and then sponged around the edges. I also ripped corrogated card...I love the feel that it gives a card....added the jute and the key embellishment...then there are the torn corners...
So there you have it...you know I only remembered to upload it as I saw a couple of other cards for this TSC and I was wondering why people were uploading so early..silly me....blame it on the time difference!!!
Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoyed a lovely stroll back to 'yesteryear! I would love to hear what you think!!!

This is beautiful! It reminds me of my town here in Nevada City, CA. I love the scene, the colors and especially the embellishments. You put this together so nicely, just beautiful. TFS

Oh my goodness this is fantastic, I love how you have colored that image and the sponging around the edge of the image makes it look romantic, you have lovely handwriting too, it's such a pretty card.

You should stop printing with writing like this! Beautiful darling card, I just loved what you did with this image, it can be tricky (well for me) at times. Love the corrugated paper and ahhh...the signature corners. Love this scene, love you too. TFS

This is awesome Linda.. I love the key.. How perfect is that.. This image is a great one.. It goes so well with the sentiment...Here in South Carolina they have a town called Charleston.. Have you ever heard of it.. You can take a horse drawn buggy ride through the city which has been preserved to the T... There is a street that has buildings like this and this image reminds me of that.. Super coloring.. The embellishments are perfect.. I FINALLY got the folder in the mail today so I will get them all off to you tomorrow.. Hugs..
