This is my card for today's Ways To Use It challenge which was to use alcohol containing products or an alcohol theme for our design. I was going to just color with my Copics, but decided I had not done any Polished Stone for awhile so this was the push I needed. I spent all morning making some beautiful pieces of Polished Stone! I am sure they will appear in other cards in the future!
For my card today, I made my Polished Stone background using Glossy White cardstock, a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol and Metallic Gold, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette and Purely Pomegranate reinkers using Beate's tutorial here: Polished Stone™ Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
For my main image, I stamped the florals with Versamark onto GP White and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I added some dots of Liquid Pearls to the centers. I punched some butterflies and dotted them with Liquid Pearls also. Punched the corners and popped up the main panel. Finished my card with Liquid Pearls in the corners of the base card.
It was really hard to get a good photo with all the gloss and the metallic ink - this was the best I could do.
Thanks, Julia, for the push to do something different today and TFL!
