Wow, I can't believe I made it for the Featured Stamper. I was so slow this week that I haven't created at all, and was too tired to miss it. Yeah...unbelievable for me too.
Anyway, this is VICKY GOULD'S DAY!!!! YAY! I do enjoy your gallery Vicky, filled with variety and so much love for cardmaking and friends. A very pleasant visit indeed, not my first. I believed I had cased Vicky before. Congratulations Vicky, well deserved. I love your work! Have fun!
I (by some miracle) managed to put together the IC, I missed yesterday and the FS today.
I changed the image, scored but lines in the panel to make line sunrays, discreet ones.
I hand drawn the little birds and David (my handsome 16 year old son)was really amazed at that, I kind of like them too, and let me tell you they are very easy to make but make a world of difference. That is why I took the picture of the card in front of it. It's one of my favorite paintings...wonder if the blue has anything to do with it. Then I framed it with yellow cs, colored with prismacolors, atyou spica, added a few eyelets and rafia, and it gave me what became the title of this card...a peaceful, easy feeling. I know you all know the Eagles song, now sing along...
Thanks Pat for the beautiful image and Terri for the oh so sweet sailboats and sun.
Thanks for looking and enjoy.

Wow, Peggy, makes me want to go south to a warm, white beach somewhere. Awesome drawing and coloring. Great way to make the ocean look 'real'. Thanks so much for playing along - I am honored indeed!

Ah, there you are, resting up for the big move and taking in the shore! I have that song in my head now...I love the eyelets and raffia, beautiful touch!

Peggy, this is wonderful! The words certainly express the feeling this card inspires!!! I love the...are they eyelets?, and the scoring of the sun's rays, and the birds in the sky!
