Today's challenge was to be inspired by these wonderful Lang Calendars:http://www.lang.com/product/1001257
I chose the potted sunflowers from The Scripture calendar. I started with yellow bazzill cs as the base, layered with blue bazzill cs. I stamped the sunflowers with black stazon onto whisper white cs and sponged with yellow and blue CTMH inks. I colored the flowers with SU markers. I also stamped a 2nd pair of sunflowers, colored and cut out and they are raised using 3D dots. I stamped with white pigment ink the checker board and then punched 3 flower pots (the punch I got at a stamping garage sale for $1.00 today) and then drew a green line on the pot. I then cut a strip of brown adhesive paper and I drew lines with a black pen to make it look wood. I also cut a strip of black cs and stamped a vine of mini flowers with white pigment ink. I then cut off the tabs on the mini flower brads and used my zots to glue them into place on the vine. I also used a brown BIC It marker for the centers of the yellow mini flowers. I had so much fun doing this challenge.
I'm definitely bookmarking the site to go back and get more inspirations.

WOW! You did a wonderful job in casing the inspiration piece. These are the cutest flower pots. Not bad for a flower punch that you received today at the garage sale for $1.00. I'm so jealous.
Your sis,
