Have you ever had one of those days? UGH! I was so excited by today's Inspiration Piece, because as soon as I saw the calender of the crayons and children, I thought it would make the perfect scrapbook page for a children's school scrapbook. My page came together wonderfully, but when it was time to photograph, my usual camera's battery was dead, and my computer scanner is broken, so then I had to lug out my huge $700.00 semi-pro camera to take the pic...and this is the lousy pic it took. For some reason, the background washed out. Its so bright and bold IRL...very much like the Inspiration Piece. The background paper is a bright red in real life. Well, I debated posting it at all, but I knew if I waited till tomorrow, no one would see it all, so I'm posting anyway. I will however, try and get a bigger pic tomorrow with my 'other' camera and post it on my blog.
Now, enough whining, on to the details of my page. I started with a piece of 8 1/2 by 11 Taken with Teal Cardstock, and put a piece of black CS on top of that. Then I wrote 'Just Imagine' with a gel pen, stamped crayons in different PRIMARY colors and glued them to the page. The rest of the papers are all from DCWV 'The Grade School Stack'. I hand wrote the sentiment on a piece of Naturals Ivory CS and sponged it with More Mustard. I cut another piece of Naturals Ivory and Black to accomadate a 4 x 6 photo.

I love it! It's so like the inspiration piece! So sorry that you are unhappy with the pic, but it's a great scrap page!

This is really cute. Love it! I just came back from Michaels and they had all new Colorbrok scrapbook section for $1 and some of the crayons things. I thought of these inspirations when I saw them.

Very nice card. I tried to comment earlier and I couldn't get it to open. It was being stubborn just now too but my persistence has finally paid off. It was woth the wait. The card is a gem.
