My kids have been wanting to learn how to watercolor with pencils because they see me do it all the time. They find it interesting that the results are fascinating just with a little bit of household products. Cody wanted to keep the image the same as me, whereas Dallas did the apple. He stamped the image onto watercolor paper with black ink. My kids know not to rock the stamp back and forth, when you do, you dont get a great image. I showed them from the card I was working on and they just followed along. It was amazing to see their results and their eyes get big. We all kept the layout pretty much the same but changed a few things. Cody decided to use the cb bubbles on the background for the purple and green. He loved the dots, but didnt really want to copy his brother but did anyways. He wasnt comfortable with the heat tool, so I showed him how I embossed the grapes with clear embossing powder. He also did his own piercing with the tool. He did the sponging around the egdes of the vanilla for a bit of a different look. He stamped the sentiment and used a piece of foam tape. I did the ribbon. This will go to his granny who is very ill. Thanks for viewing his card. He wanted me to post it because Dallas told him that his card was online already. I hope you like his card as well.

from a former wife of a former Marine, I see at the time of the photo he'd been in for awhile, tell him thanks for his service and give him a big hug and kiss.

This turned out great Cody. I love the coloring you did. I think that you have a future in stamping. I am so glad that you had time to stamp with mom. Super dots..

Such a pretty card, I like the purple embossed panel with the grapes, it really brings out your nice pencil coloring you did on those grapes. Nice job with the challenge!
