These are the tiny hearts from the set called Mixey Matchey Flowers from Penguin Pants. The set also includes these same hearts in a larger version. Makes it nice to have two different sizes for when you are working on different sized projects. This is a 3 x 3 card, but could be duplicated in a larger size easily. The checkered background piece is made using a scoring wheel rolled on and ink pad and then rolled on cardstock using a ruler to make the grid pattern. I then just watercolored in everyother square. It was a great way to use up scraps and get a patterned piece that perfectly matched my project.
