My kids have been wanting to learn how I watercolor with pencils. So we each made a card using different fruits. I had already uploaded my card here: WT201 FS101 SC185 Antique Grapes by okstamper at Splitcoaststampers using grapes. This card is made by my son Dallas. He also wanted to make the same layout but using different ideas, so he chose my favorite technique that Markie's mom uses. My other son Cody will finish his card later. Here is Dallas' story: He stamped the apple with black ink onto watercolor paper. He found it interesting to outline the image with pencils then come back using the mineral spirits and blending stumps to make a whole different look. Next, I showed him how to emboss using the clear powder. So, the apple is embossed. He did everything to this card, except for the ribbon. He also stamped tiny apples onto the red c/s as well as the green. The sentiment is stamped using a dollar stamp and made from a cb frame die cut. He told me that one of his teachers that he likes really well, will get this. He has hard a tough week at school due to some bullies at his locker. We watched a video about this type of thing and I believe we both learned a lesson. Anyhow, he will be thrilled to see that I finally posted his card. I hope you like it. Thanks for viewing his card, it would make his day.
Dallas is 11 years old

Awwww you tell him to be tough. My daughter had problems too. That makes a mom really sad. This is fantastic. I just love his watercoloring. Super job. Way to get his mind full of fun and creativity. TFS
