This is my card for today's Limited Supply Challenge - to use a black card base. It is also for Sharon's Stamp Simply Challenge which this week was to make a card with a modern edge to it: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
When I think of modern, I think of clean lines, cool colors and minimal, but classy design.
On my black card base, I used a DP with a black background and modern pattern. I paired that with cool blue-gray (Bordering Blue) and Vanilla. I stamped the silhouettes by coloring the stamp with markers and huffing. I added some tiny vanilla brads to the flower centers, faux piercing to the corners and a narrow black and vanilla ribbon to finish it. Popped the main image panel up on foam tape. Hope I achieved the modern look I was going for!
Thanks, Dawn and Sharon, for the fun challenges and TFL!
