Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Pattern Pizzaz. Participants were to ALTER existing patterned paper.
This was pretty fun for me...I recently re-organized my stampin' room and found BASKETS of designer papers! I am NOT exaggerating...BASKETS! And, I gave away 7 paper CASES of it! 7 BOXES!!! YIKES! (Hello, my name is Faith. I'm a Designer Paper-a-holic...Is there a group? If so, I'm NEVER joining it! Ribbon and paper are my vices! BTW...for those of you who need an excuse to purchase papers/craft items, here's my little mantra: I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't have CLOSETS of clothes that I'll never wear. I don't have expensive designer shoes..(I wear flip flops 98% of the time!)I don't have expensive purses. I don't have TONS of jewelry that I'll never wear. I don't have an expensive home. I don't have a car payment. Heck, right there, I've convinced myself I need $100 worth of new punches! LOL)
The altered brown designer paper was wrinkled to begin with. I just rubbed a Chocolate Chip pad over it to show more of the wrinkles. The Bottom Olive designer paper is from a Paper Palette Pad. I rubbed an Always Artichoke pad over it to show the pattern. The multi-color background was stamped over in VersaMark and embossed in copper.
The fox image, from Treehouse Stamps was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink and heat set. Next, I colored it with Copic markers.
The leaves were punched from the designer papers and sponged.

I'm right there with you, Faith. I further justify my habit by saying, I could also use this with the cubscouts!! I love this little fox. He is adorable with those little hearts on his ears.
