This morning I didn't have a clue of what to do for the SC. I did know that I wanted to use two new stamps from my wonderful sister. Plus, flowergal36 challenged me to make a ribbon blossom. I knew today's sketch would work very well for a blossom. Then, while cleaning a pool, I saw these two playful squirrels chasing each other, having a fun time and the rest is history. I had my inspiration................details............
Working from the bottom up: sponged my white card with purely pomegranate. On another white panel I stamped the new bg stamp and sponged edges. Layered this on brown cs, put on the card.
On a smaller white cs panel, I drew the brick wall for my little friend to sit on, sponged the clouds for the sky, layered on brown cs. Added the sentiment with the green brad. Put on the card.
On a scrap of white cs, I stamped my new belt stamp for panel 3a, sponged with old olive and cut out. Stamped my squirrels, colored with prisma pencils blending with gamsol then versa marked, clear eb and cut out.
Put my belt on, then popped up the big squirrel, glued on the other one. Wasn't going to use this badly made ribbon blossom, but I did. Thanks flowergal36 for the challenge. I forgot to tell you that I am ribbon challenged! Can you tell? LOL This was the hardest part of the card!
So my SCS friends, please look past the blossom ........TFL :0)

So cute. You know, I kept looking for the tutorial on how to make this blossom b/c I thought it would be great for this sketch. I didn't find one I really understood and my thought process went downhill from there and landed against a big thick wall. Anyway, you make a fantastic blossom and such an adorable card.
