This is my vision of a Paris terrace...I've never been but it would be lovely I think!
I was so inspired by Lynn's TLC challenge yesterday to make a faux mosaic, that it was just the thing to get me moving on a project I've had in my head for days!
I've been wanting to alter a book cover and I also wanted it to be something I could hang up in my own home.
I made the base by ripping the cover off of an old book. I added the pewter hardware to hang it, with eyelets. The base paper is modpodged onto the book cover, and sanded along the edges.
The Flourishes table and chair are coloured with Martha Stewart markers, and watercolor wonder crayons.
I drew the mosaic design on the table to match the mosaic bg.
Thanks to Kathy for her tutorial on making a faux mosaic!
Thanks for taking a look! Have a creative night/day!

Deena... this is way too cool for words! I love the rustic charm it has! I feel like I am going to hang out in Paris a little lemonade! :-) Although, not the beverage choice in Paris -- but still -- you get my drift! ;-)
