Hi everyone, this is the other card I made for today's Limited Supplies Challenge - Non-Cheesy Valentines Card.. (Actually this may be a little Cheesy..., but I think it's so creative and cute..) Limited to color - red, pink, black, white, kraft. Limited layers, only a card front, embellishments, handcutting. Just simple as you can...
First of all, I was grocery shopping this morning and I saw this cute "Lips" cookie cutter, yes, I said cookie cutter, and I thought to myself wouldn't this would be so cute on a Valentine's Card for my sweetie... So I bought it, and this is how it turned out...
I used Basic Black, Red Hearts another layer of Basic Black, all cut with nestabilities. Traced the lips upside down to get the fullness onto red glitter paper and cut them out. Attached to the top of the Basic Black. Added chipboard glitter letters and heart jewels. Sentiment is stamped on the Red Hearts DP with VersaMark and then embossed in black. I wasn't for sure if this would work, but, as you can see, it did just fine. Layered this on Basic Black and then the Red Glitter DP.. This is popped up on pop dots. I really like the way this turned out. And no, I would not make 30 of these, but, then again, I can't think of 30 people that I would want to "SMOOCH"!! lol.. Anyway, this was a lot of fun.. tfl
