The base of the card is creamy caramel, then a matte of Not Quite Navy and then White cardstock strips with Sage Shadow stamped in the middle of the card.
I wanted to use some embellishments, these flowers are kinda new for me, I have used them before but have never been happy with how they have looked on a card. I am thrilled with the way they worked here!
I embossed the top and bottom panels, stamped the middle panel with Fresh Cuts in Sage and then used the berry branch in Caramel from Always to fill in the gaps. All the flowers are popped up, as is the butterfly.
The butterfly was created by colouring the butterfly stamp directly with my caramel, sage and navy markers. Then I huffed it and stamped it on white CS. Then I carefully cut the butterfly out. I love the way the colours all blended together, I need to try that again!!
The tag I created with my cricut (George folder) and I shadowed it in the Not Quite Navy. The ribbon is sage and the brads are silver. Should have used gold!! The berry branches and the butterfly have stickles on them. I love the way they sparkle!
Thanks for looking! This is for a colleague who is leaving us for an exchange trip to Australia.
What do you think?

Your flowers look terrific, the butterfly also. I like the way the colors blended in butterfly. You have blended some very nice elements here that make this a stand out card!

I love this card. I am going to copy most of it for my stash. Thank you so much for including the instructions. So often I can't figure out how something was done.
