Boy, sometimes the simple cards are the hardest to do! I love this set, and I'm glad to be finally getting some ink on it!
First of all, I didn't realize at first that the large scallop is slightly larger than a regular card size, so all of my large scallop cards are either square, or large, or the scallop is cut like this. I made a NQNavy scallop and just layered them a little off center from each other - they are the same size.
The flower was stamped with staz-on timber brown, and then the edges were gone over with su markers, then blended with a blender pen. The sentiment is stamped in NQNavy, and then I took the blender pen gently under the scripted words. On the watercolor paper, the ink is easily pulled away without pilling.
I wanted to keep it simple, but I didn't want it too plain, so I stamped another flower image from this set in VersaMark, and went over it with Blue/Green Pearl-Ex (looks a lot like Baja Breeze!) Then I took a VersaMarker to the flower so it is shimmery too, just not in this photo....I sponged the edges with Baja Breeze and put it on with dimensionals...
The simple cards sometimes can be the biggest pains!

This is very pretty! The image really pops on the white bg and the white looks great on the Kraft... very pretty shimmer... I know how hard it is to capture in a photo... I can never get it but I can see it on the Kraft!
