This is my card for this month's Wish-RAK January Card Contest - Category #2 -Die Cut Dilemma. Here, there, everywhere youÂ’re seeing die cuts! For this challenge you must use a die cut of any size, shape, or theme! Colors and layout are your choice.
Donegal1 sent me whole sheets of River Rock cs, so I was able to use half for the card base, a quarter for some layering and the other quarter for my die cut Scallop Envelope. I also used Bella Rose dp with the envelope die cut so it could be lined with pretty paper. Those hearts are chipboard that were covered with more Bella Rose paper. The sentiment is a rub-on and the small heart is adhered with a Dimensional. To finish the envelope, I wrapped it in Riding Hood Red Tafetta Ribbon.
The Pink Pirouette panels on the River Rock layer were stamped with the hearts in the Love You Much set in Pink Pirouette ink. This panel is layered onto Riding Hood Red cs.
Finally, I stamped two more small hearts in Riding Hood Red ink onto Whisper White cs, punched them out and added them to the Riding Hood Red panel.
My husband and I will be celebrating Valentine's Day this year in Mexico, so this card will go over the border with me. I hope he likes it!
Oh, I almost forget to mention that this layout is an old sketch challenge. TFL- Regina
