Judy, congratulations on being today's FS. You have a great gallery that I went deep into. I hope I did your card justice. You know it was really hard to choose just one. Here is the one I picked: Woven Iris by jaydekay at Splitcoaststampers
Before I began stamping, my friend & I went to Lake FarmPark to take basket weaving classes. We didn't like it. I shoulda known.... This will be her birthday card! She'll like the trip down memory lane.
I made each strip 1/2" wide, wove it together, then stamped the flower after coloring the stamp w/ EE markers. Then I mad a simple (?) mask of the flowers & stamped the grasses after stamping off twice. I then stamped the little cone flower & mounted it on a small popdot w/ ribbon. It is slightly off set. Yes, if you are wondering, that is still my Christmas tree in the bg.
This was fun to do, but I'm not sure I'd do it again. It took over an hour for me.
Your comments are always appreciated & welcomed.
Thanks for taking a look.
