Stef gave us a challenge today to use Tenugui website for our inspiration. I chose the persimmons for their color and the oriental feeling.
My little Geisha is stamped on the back of a domino with black stazon...She is then colored with markers and gold pen colored the sides. The little cherry blossom is embossed with gold on plum paper and layered on red. My husband was stationed at Yokota AFB outside of Tokyo and we lived in the little town of Heijima for 3 years back in the last 60s. Oriental cards always bring back just bitter sweet memories.
Hope you like her.
