Today I combined challenges. In church Sunday, our pastor was talking about long time friends that we said we'd always stay in touch. Well, I have one of those friends from nursing school. We stayed close for ever so long, even through their move to another state. But it seemed that after the last wedding, we began drifting apart more & more. We've now promised each other to be more in touch and this is for her.
I went w/ my ever faithful chalk pencils for coloring. I also added just a hint of a black panel b/c I thought it looked better. For Tues. color challenge we were to use Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, & Garden Green - oops, I used Glorious Green - colors I never would've put together, but I think it looks nice. I bugged the bg w/ birds & swirls, or whatever that folder is called.
Well, I hope you like this today.
Thanks so much for looking.

Oh, your friend is gonna LOVE this! I adore that sentiment! Right away it made me think of a gal who has been my friend since we were 3 years old! We always seem to pick up where we left off whenever we see each other! Friends like that don't come along often enough! GOod for you, I'm glad you have one! Hopefully you have more! Anyway, before I get too long winded, this card is just lovely! Terrific colors! BTW, is that an SU sentiment?

Very pretty! I miss my g/f in Missouri since moving here to Oklahoma. I hope we don't drift away either. Nice sentiment and the colors are great.
