A few weeks ago Julie (JMB073) wrote a blog post about having a “go to” layout, a layout she uses quite a bit when she creates her cards. When I read her post I thought now there is a great idea, I should figure out one too. Well, I needed a couple cards for some folks at work, sat down to make them and realized I do have a “go to” layout, I actually got it from Michelle Wooderson’s blog some time ago. Michelle wrote about how she likes to use 12x12 papers because she can cut 4x4 squares, which are perfect for A2 cards, and get several cards out of one sheet of paper.
This is a card for one of my co-workers who is expecting her second child- YAY! Michelle also has a blog post (I actually think it might be the same post as the 12x12/4x4 post) about embracing the white space on images in stead of trimming them close, I tried to do that with the heart on the main image.
Thanks Michelle and Julie for all your great tips and inspiration!
