you can see the cake that is not a teapot. It came from IC161 www.cakenouveau.com
I thought of Cindy as soon as I saw this cake. As I was making my card I was trying to figure out if I was the White Rabbit and Cindy was the Mad Hatter or the other way around. I came to the conclusion that I had to be the Mad Hatter to spend 3 hrs making this card. I used quilling on the handle of the teapot and for the steam. I drew the teapot. I punched the flowers out. I cut and paper crimped the leaves. The table cloths were accordian folded. The grass on the hill was freehand cut. The chain for the watch was gold ribbon that I made a basic crochet chain. I know I was insane to make this card, because I will never be able to mail it. It will have to be hand delivered. Any comments that you leave will be greatly appreciated.

OMG! Its to die for! Hee! Okay, here is the deal...I think we are both Mad Hatters....and the white rabbit? Well, we have driven him crazy and he is in a padded room somewhere wondering how his life took such a turn. Its not easy putting up with two crazed stampers on a mission! Snort!
No fair, you can draw! Miss McGiver, you have done it again! I love your ribbon chain, love your *drawn* teapot! You rock.
Thanks so much for spending three hours just trying to get to the party, I know sometimes traffic is bad! I love, love, love yor card! It rocks...
Thanks for the links too....
Whisper! I am glad someone else is in the same boat with an un-mailable not a card! I guess there is always shirt boxes!

Well, aren"t I impressed! Your creativity knows not bounds, girl. Glad you came to tea. I thought maybe Cindy and I were going to have a pity party and drink alone this week.

Oh - I shouldn't have looked! I usually wait till I've done my card and then go and look at the teapot gallery for the week. But I was in your gallery anyway this morning. I too thought that loose quilling would be perfect for the teapot handle and steam. But I haven't made my card yet...this afternoon, hopefully. I love your pleated tablecloths.

Hey this is so pretty, I wish I could have the patience and talent to make such a beautiful card. I love this, TFS. I know Cindy must be so proud of this one.
