Any excuse to use my new toy, the Copic Airbrush System!!
I tried my hand at using other markers (an experiment *grin*) and airbrushing over a positive/negative stencil I made from a Cuttlebug Leaf die.
First the "experiment"...I used Zig markers which don't fit the ABS (used a cotton ball as a wedge)... these markers aren't as "smooth" as Copics, but it gave a neat effect I think.
I used the cut out leaf and the "hole" left by the leaf to airbrush the bg.
The butterfly, from Cornish Heritage Farms, was stamped, colored with Copics, die cut (labels 1), masked (sticky note butterfly) and die cut, airbrushed with both kinds of markers (see dots and smooth *wink*)....then using a stamp positioner I over-stamped the butterfly again (this helps define the image lines and overall makes it pop!)
tfl=)
