Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combo Challenge: Brilliant Blue, Garden Green and Pumpkin Pie....OMGosh If I weren't a Seminole Fan, I'd make a Florida Gator Card! LOL!
Last evening, VERY late...About 11PM, there was a knock at the door. I heard the screen door slam and then a truck pull away about a minute later. I thought, "Hmmm....UPS? No WAY!" I turned on the porch light and peered out the little itty bitty window in our front door, and there it was! A small package! I opened the door, after moving the table I put in front of it, and the ottoman, and the OTHER table, disabled the alarm and the unlocked the door.(Mark's out of town...Those are my security measures, other than 3 dogs and 6 attack cats! LOL!) As I opened the door, 2 small toads jumped into the house! All the animals went nuts! Then, Speedy the Cat hissed everyone away and sat patiently guarding the small creatures. Then, with his paw, he gently pushed them out the door! I swear, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I'd swear I was CRAZY! He saved them from a certain death!
So, I was inspired to use this Froggie Stamp!
The image was stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink onto Watercolor paper. Then, I colored in the image with markers. Next, I used an aqua painter to blend the colors.
The flowers are Martha Stewart Punches! I punched them in Whisper White and sponged on Pumpkin Pie. The centers are Brilliant Blue gem stones.

WOW WHEEEE!!!! Yep, cat's will surprise us in many different ways. What a great card to do in Speedy the Cat's honour (of looking after the toads). What beautiful, vibrant colours, great colouring and cutting. Beautifully pieced together too.

The flowers are so pretty Faith. MS has an eye indeed for adorable stuff and she goes at it with mucho gusto I must say. I love them. Your sponging is so pretty, I try and try and can't seem to get those colors so dark and sometimes shady like you do. Guess must be your magical fingers! Love this! Great colors. TFS
