This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge. Julie’s gallery is extensive, creative, and amazing. I’m shaking a little to even be in her (digital) presence. Here is the card that made me laugh loudest—her 21-bun salute: 21 Bun Salute! by JulieHRR at Splitcoaststampers
The card jogged memories of a story my brother once told me; he was at a wedding rehearsal dinner/picnic for Tim and Terri. Someone happened to remark that the river by the picnic grounds was awfully murky.
Tim’s rascally uncle Rich thought he would impress the crowd with a cute story from his youth, “You know, the water used to be crystal clear. I remember one hot day when I was a boy a big group of us had been hiking and were hot and wanted to cool off. We stripped off our clothes and dove in and went swimming down the river with the current. As we rounded a bend we realized we were about to swim by a bunch of girl scouts. The current was strong enough that we didn’t want to turn around yet and swim back so we all just dove and kept swimming. Those scouts probably got quite an eyeful."
At this point Terri’s prim aunt spoke up, “You know, I was one of those girl scouts and yes, the water was crystal clear and we did get quite an eyeful!”
Rich was very pink-cheeked (har!!) and quiet for the rest of the picnic.
So. The changes in this CASE are that the 21 buns belong to cheeky little swimmers in a river rather than to adorable rabbits in the grass. I made it to look like one of the girl scouts did this in art class to illustrate her trip to the river.

I could almost hear the drum roll just before I read the punchline. I enjoyed reading Julie's 28 or 21 bun salute, hilarious that one. And you come up with this card and call me an artist. Well this is such a fun card, I was wondering what those pink circles stood for and now I can stop giggling. So creative and downright naughty! Love this Peg! TFS

Oh Peg, I think we're seeing a very different side to you today: First, it's your 21 beach bum salute and then your story! What a hoot this one is girl! I dont remember seeing this card, but it doesnt really matter now: I could never have such an amazing job and with such frivolity! This is just fabulous!
