The Wish-RAK Group is having a New Year Card Round Up - Cards for the Troops this holiday weekend. Here's my card Stamping in Kansas's Spouse Anniversary Challenge #6. I received Soft Sky and Blue Bayou cardstock from sbbolz, so I decided to make two cards - Soft Sky for the wife and Blue Bayou for the husband.
I scalloped the bottom edge of Western Sky designer paper and adhered it the Soft Sky cardbase. I stamped the twig from the Always set along the bottom of the card with VersaMark. I stamped the Always sentiment with Not Quite Navy onto Whisper White cs, punched it with my 1 1/4" circle punch and layered it onto a 1 3/8" circle of Blue Bayou. I added a Real Red flower in the middle of the *a* with a Dimensional. My chipboard heart is covered with Western Sky designer paper. For a little added eye candy, which is hard to capture in a photograph, I embossed the chipboard heart three times with Glassy Glaze Enamel.
It's quick and simple, but I think it'll convey a message of love. TFL - Regina
