Wow! You definitely got it right. This is amazing. I love the whole card, but particularly like the little strips of cardstock to bring out the background colors. Fantastic!

I'm also a quilter who *loves* batik fabric, so a lot of my cards look like mini quilts! This technique is emerging color, which is the Technique Lover's Challenge for this week. You'll find a description of how to do it under "Forums", TLC 15. (I'd post the link, but I'm not sure I know how....)
