The challenge today was to use "Silver" in your project.
I decided to make a Friendship card.
For the background, I used Glossy Black paper and used silver alcohol ink randomly on it so the black would show through. For the Silver mats - I used Glossy White paper and covered it completely with silver alcohol ink. For the "words", I ran a strip of silver plumbers tape through the Cuttlebug using the "Friend" embossing folder. I then cut out the words (delightful, wonderful, exciting, happy, unforgettable, silly, memories, Friend) and attached them to black cardstock to layer on the silver mats. Then I used some silver ribbon both vertically and horizontally to tie in a bow to make it look like a package and added a dark gray prima flower with a little silver brad in the center.
It is overcast and windy today so I had to take the picture inside and just couldn't get the right lighting to work with the shiny accents. I took over 20 "poses" and this is the best I could get -- so sorry for the bad photo.
