In between cooking dinner with DH, watching TV with DH and DS, and playing with the dogs, I made this card for two of the SCS New Year’s Eve challenges. For challenge #SCSNYE04, Laura (Laurakj) challenged us to make a card with “7 P’s”: Piercing, Patterned Paper, Paper Piecing, Polka-Dots, Pink, Punches, and Pop-Dots.
For challenge #SCSNYE05, Katherine (beadfreak22) challenged us to make a card using “new things” – things we hadn’t used yet.
I used all “new” things from Mothers and Daughters Creations to make this card with all 7 P’s: I pieced the ribbon and scalloped border, pierced the scalloped ovals, used polka dotted patterned paper for the background, punched the ribbon and scalloped border as well as the butterflies I used to embellish the inside greeting, and set my blooms and butterfly on pop-dots. And my palette – mostly pink!
