I was almost finished a card for the CC and had a little look to see if the SC was up...and it was...the layout was so similar to what I had done I only needed to 'tweek' a couple of things and it worked for both....so I did and then I realised I had stuck it all on upside down and the card opening was at the top...ahhhh....I bet this has never happened to you!!! So rather than take the whole thing apart I just flipped the image to the left of the card and prayed for understanding......I hope this is okay...I didn't want to waste this fabulous DP which was in a RAK from Peggy (aka Marilyn Prestonn) and friends, as was the image and the lovely rose.....so you see, there was too much at stake here!!! Oh yes...and the fabulous angel wings as well!
I love this image and realised as I was using it that is the same as the one on the RAK from NancyRuth that I uploaded yesterday - so that was a surprise....I knew I had something similar, didn't realise it was the same!!
Having a vintage feel, I used inking, tearing and chalks, they always work well with this style card. If you look close enough you can see part of the card I didn't alter - the lace is actually upside down....wasn't going to risk that!!!
Thank you so much for looking, I so appreciate all of your comments, you have blessed me so much in the short time I have been on SCS...you have given me such encouragement and inspired me. I look forward to 2009 and all that it brings all of us. 2009 is only 1 hour and 50 mins away for me, so Happy New Year to you, God bless you and you'll be seeing me on the gallery next year!

I love all the vintage details of your card. And oh yes, I have made cards upside down before. It's always fun to see how we can fix our mistakes. lol You did a great job!
