Here is a close up of one of the post-it note holders and matching pen that I made for one of my co-workers.
I decided to make all of the post-it note holders for my colleagues with a 12" x 12" piece of double sided cardstock (I sheet per post-it note holder and pen), and following Angie Kennedy Juda's video tutorial, which can be found here: http://chicnscratch.typepad.com/stam...r-post-it.html. For the paper, I went to Archiver's and picked out double sided cardstock I liked that was on clearance.
The pens are Pentel R.S.V.P. (found at WalMart, Target, Staples, etc.), and I used some of the remaining double sided cardstock to create them. The cardstock was cut at 1" x 3 1/4", and then rolled to fit into the barrel of the pen. I know there is a tutorial for altered pens in the Resources section, but I used this video tutorial from Dawn Griffith: http://dawnsstampingthoughts.typepad...-pens-wit.html
