Created for Gina's challenge a day black and white. It seemed a little strange to be using a coloring technique, but not adding any color.
I started coloring the image with Koh-i-noor pencils (which I love), but discovered that the black wasn't as dark and intense as I wanted, so I switched to the prismacolor black pencil and was much more pleased.
I used the threading water border punch, but then covered all the holes with tiny punched flowers.
I brushed white lumiere on the word stamp and then stamped it. (I made sure to clean the stamp right away.) The swirl is grungeboard, also painted with white lumiere.
