i was inspired by a store bought card given to my sister-in-law.
i just covered and decorated a composition book.
i used a piece of wash cloth (for the towel), fun foam, silk flowers & brads (to make the flip flops), jute (braided 3 strands for the handle and then ran 5 across the top of the bag), a piece of an onion bag (to create the bag itself), rhinestones (after her name) & ribbon (to be able to tie the journal shut). i almost forgot! i made a tiny composition book to put in the bag too! it even has tiny little pages inside.
SIGH... i think that covers it all!
this was a little tricky tho! trying to get all the pieces sized right and then attaching them to the book.

I so applaud your wonderful creativity! I see those adorable flip flops, and love the beach bag concept! Love the creative genius that brought all these miniature essentials together. This is just a fabulous journal!
