This is for HCE08. I just LOOVED that photo (even DH came into the office while it was up on my screen and said "WOW"!) I love the pop of the butterfly colors but don't have any butterfly stamps. I used a rub on over pixie pink paper. Not enough pop. Used my copic markers to add a darker tone over the pink. Still didn't have that pop that I was looking for. Soooo, taking a cue from Miss Kittie herself in jumping off the cliff and trying something new, I decided to see if I could add embossing glitter over the rub on. Using my versamark pen I prepped the areas that I wanted to have glitter, working on a small section at a time. It works, but you have to be careful not to over heat (I let the change in smell warn me! LOL) I then added more lines to the open spaces to help cover the embossing powder that got stuck/melted where it wasn't suppose to be (yes, I used an embossing buddy, but didn't really work how it was suppose to). Only the body of the butterfly is attached to the card, giving it great dimension IRL. I love how this turned out and wish to thank Kittie for being brave enough to share her new journey of painting that was so inspiring to me to try something new.

This made me want to cry. I am touched and thrilled that you kept on keeping on to make this card happy for "you"! Gosh...I am such a big softie. I had to get a kleenex.
