This is the card I made for today's TLC challenge. Poor Lynn was having trouble getting her tutorial to upload, but I think I know what she was trying to share with us, and I hope I got it right!
I used some Crate paper, I don't have a lot of double-sided paper and should really get some more. Anyway, I trimmed it to a 9 inch square and folded it. Before I folded the front flap in I stamped thank you all around all 4 edges in brown, so it shows on the inside too. Then for the front I added two Primas, with some sticky double-sided film and gold micro-beads in the centre, attaching the ribbon underneath. For the two peach bits that show when the card is closes, I stamped some swirls in Versamark and chalked them with chalk pastels. I did the same on the inside square, this time using grey as well as peach chalks. Then I just added a Maya Road chipboard bird covered with white EP, (the wing has texture added by stamping it with a text stamp) and drawing on some musical notes.
Thanks for such a fun challenge, Lynn, I'll be doing this again.
