Congratulation's Barbara on being this weeks featured stamper, I enjoyed checking out your wonderful gallery... I decided to case this card
"Friend" - I really liked the layout and colours. Friend by Stampfilled Dreams at Splitcoaststampers
I also combined this weeks limited supply challenge - No holiday card, no green or red, no snowflakes and House Mouse #19 challenge - embossing. here is the link http://housemouse-challenge.blogspot.com/
I made this card for my oldest sister's birthday - she loves to quilt and is a wonderful seamstress. Main card is 5 x 5 white card stock, I cut a 5x5 piece of teal to go over the white base, next is white, then chocolate chip and then apricot appeal - apricot was run through the CB with Swiss dot EF. Sponged edge with CC and sewed around edges. Added the MS pearls. House Mouse image stamped twice on whisper white. Water coloured all but their feet, hands, ears and face - coloured those with prismacolor pencil crayons. Bottom image was cut out with plain circle nestability. Sponged edge with TT. Cut out the pin cushion and mice. I clear embossed the thimbles to give them a shine. Popped up on dimensionals. I cut out a CC and Teal scalloped mat. Pierced all scallops and dotted with white gel pen. Stamped sentiment on AA with CC, punched out with window punch, added the copper eyelet. Attached the the white and copper sheer ribbon and heat curled. Attached the sentiment with pearl straight pin.
