I have combined 2 challenges the Colour Challenge and the New Technique Challenge. I wasn't sure where I was going when I started and I have to say I didn't have the exact colours (I never do seem to) but went as close as I could.
For the Technique Challenge, I thought I had been a bit over keen doing such a big image, but once the glue had dried I was quite pleased with it. I decided to go vintage and added the torn and inked papers, and one corner, that I love doing. I realised that I only have 3 flower colours, so used the white ones and got out the chalks and the blender pen and added colour to them...I am very happy with the result and will be doing that again!!
The middle flower is from a RAK from my dear friend Suleika (aka Roxystamper)
I then proceeded to chalk around the edges of the faux silk...and got carried away, but I really like the look - it highlights the effect (in my opinion) it has a tie dyed effect. I added the braid and the heart brads as finishing touches....
Thanks for looking and also for your comments, I am VERY interested to see what you think!!!
May you all have a blessed CHRISTmas filled with love and laughter, fun and family, health and happiness!!! We have 1 sleep and are just off to look at Christmas lights to make it go faster!!!

I think it is beautiful Linda! Such a breath of spring on this grey sleety morning in Connecticut! I especially love the two hearts tipped together at the bottom, they must be yours and Rons!
