So is it okay for Ginger to be wearing a white dress this time of year? I can never remember that rule! Ginger is from PennyBlack and she has been paper pieced with white and blush blossom onto groovy guava. I colored her earrings in with a white gel pen and her belt and purse with a sage shaddow marker. After I added the tissue for the faux silk (great technique... thanks Lynn!) I trimmed her up and added my layers. I used a bit of the scrap to edge out my sentiment.
I'd had the background paper in my stash for about 3 years now... I'm so happy to have finally used it!
Thanks for looking!
Kathryn
I've just realized that I forgot a step.. the wrinkle/crinkle of the tissue before smoothing it out and glueing it on..... no wonder it doesn't have the right look for the faux silk. Guess I'll have to try it again!!! *shucks!*

Ginger is darling! However, today in Pennsylvania, she would be very cold in that pretty white dress! LOL! Beautiful job....even without one of the steps!

I just had to come see your Miss Ginger card. She looks good in any color, any time. And, I think she does celebrate life. Your background paper looks very good with all your other colors and your technique is great. Good card.
