Challenge TLC200 - faux silk w/a pop.
(again, this was without the pop)
Image is from photoholic (thanks, Shannah) stamped in brown. Took tissue & crumpled then glue stick directly on image with tissue over it ... intentionally left some wrinkles & patted them down instead of smoothing. After was dry, stippled chocolate ariound the whole thing, swirling to show more of the texture. Matted on chocolate then caramel, bumped up.
Base is chocolate w/caramel then chocolate DP. Cream grossgrain ribbon knotted at side. Sentiment is an oldie SU (black foam mounted, does that say it all?) ... stamped on white, stippled with chocolate, matted onto chocolate then cream that I made my own nestie from with the scallop punch. (thank goodness Cuttlebug takes that worry out, but I didn't have one that fit, so..) Added 3 brads before bumping sentiment up on dimensionals.
I really like this image, Shannah, thanks so much!!!!!
I'm loving this silk technique ... going to have to expand & do even more cards.
Thanks for looking.

Wow, this is great. Thanks for the detailed description, too. I love that.
I will definately need to try this technique. It gives such a great antique look.
Thanks for sharing.
