Well, my dad's going through chemo again - this is week 2 of a 16-week treatment. His name is Ted, and this gruff Teddy Bear is perfect. I made this card for him today. I am actually pretty proud of my feeding tube, thermometer and slippers. I know, it's morbid, but he's got a sense of humor about it all. I can't believe chemo recovery is what's made me start using this set. I mean - just think - a mosquito shooting the chemo stuff into his arm; the bug spray turned into Rogaine; etc. Isn't that awful?! I wish I could do more, but at 4 hours away with 3 little children all the time ... cards, scrapbooks, and encouragement is all I know to do.

What an awesome card- and the thought of being able to stamp a card with ensure going into a g tube- he's going to get a chuckle out of this, I'm sure. You're supportin' him, and he knows it! tfs.

Good luck to you and your dad. Your card is amazing and the feeding tube was such a creative idea.

When I learned how to stamp, I forgot how to cook and clean.

I think that is so great! I work in the BC Cancer Agency and I have noticed that the people who keep their sense of humour do so much better! And I think that your cards are so awesome. Tell your dad to keep smiling, and feel better quick.
