Notimetostamp's stamp simply challenge is to make a quick, simple card that someone could case 6 of in 30 minutes or less.
We have a couple good (guy) friends who are battling some serious health issues, and I realized that I didn't have any get-well cards on hand, so I used Sharon's wonderful challenge for this purpose.
This also fits today's Limited Supply Challenge to create a card with mostly blue and only one embellishment. This is my second card for this challenge (it's a snow day for me here--woo-hoo!), so I got to play some more. AND, since I should be addressing my Christmas cards, I loved Sharon's challenge to make a quick card.
I used a mixture of daubers and sponges to create the colors for my scene and then stamped the Stampscapes image and sentiment in black. Took me about 5 minutes to make this card and most of that was just sponging, sponging, sponging to get my colors the way I wanted them.
TFL!
