Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Holiday Blues. Cards were to be 3/4 blues and only 1 non-paper embellishment!
Well...I had a toss and turn evening, and of course, Markie and Speedy the Cat slept like logs...So, I couldn't wake up this morning to let the dogs out, and Speedy the Cat was NOT amused!
I decided to go ALL PAPER on this card. There are fewer layers than I usually use, too! LOL! I used my new Spellbinders die to make the rod that hold the stocking and rabbit.
Yes, there is a REASON I put a rabbin in the stocking. We have a friend who has bought a rabbit for her daughter for Christmas. Right now, the rabbit, food and hutch are residing at a neighbor's house waiting for "Santa" to bring it to the child on Christmas Morning! It's going to be wonderful! So, I thought a cute rabbit was a good stocking stuffer! LOL!
The rabbit is a Martha Stewart punch. I sponged it with 3 colors. Next, I added Inkssentials pen to the chest and eye. Then, I added the nose and pupil with a black marker. The snowflakes are sponged and have a 1/4" punch for the centers!
Paper: Baja Breeze, Night of Navy, Taken with Teal, Whisper White Watercolor for the stocking, Veray Vanilla for the rabbit and snowflakes
Ink: Noir Black Palette Hybrid Ink, sponging: More Mustard, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip for rabbit and snowflakes Not Quite Navy for the edge of card
Accessories: daubers, Nesties, Cuttlebug, punches, markers, Aqua Painter,

Love the way you dangled the stocking off the embossed rod.

Awwwww! Love the little rabbit in the darling stocking and the pretty blues you used. One of my coworkers has a chocolate brown rabbit with a taupish colored mane (it's called a lion rabbit) and is just the cutest thang!
