This card took me longer than what I anticipated. I must of tried 3 different ways to do the lighthouse. Finally decided on the bleach technique. I just love doing things with the bleach on cards. I stamped the lighthouse with Versamark ink onto the Navy blue c/s and then embossed it using Cobalt embossing powder. I took my waterbrush pen that I use for bleach and dipped it right into the bleach several times then back on the image. I left the lighthouse the bleach look. As the c/s was turning to the bleach color, I started coloring with the Prismacolor pencils. The light is just bleach by using the brush pen. I distressed and sponged all the edges of the layered c/s with my tool and Brushed Corduroy ink. I used the CM oval cutting system to cut the image out twice. The sentiment is from the SU Mini Mates set and is punched out by using the small oval punch. It is also distressed and inked on the edges. I mounted the lighthouse onto MME DP with 3D dimensions. I used the piercing tool all around the layers of c/s too. I used the corner punch, pop dots, and also pierced the corners. I really didn't know what else to put in the corners. To finish the card I used MS fence border punch and I added string to tie a slip knot. The fence is on the card using pop dots as well. I think its amazing that the people come up with these color challenges because I don't think I would of ever put these together. It was fun to do though. Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking.
Note: I find that Bazzill c/s works better with the bleach technique.
