I am working my way through my box of UFO's (unfinished objects) and this is one I have been wanting to work with for a long time, but never sure what to do with it, I just loved the picture, which I had cut out of a magazine a few years ago.
I have a very eclectic card here with some very interesting recycling on it...the first being the picture, the second is the saying under it - which is from some scrapbooking paper my Mum recently sent me, that she didn't use anymore...so I took this sentiment from there, although it really only is in part, but I thought it fitted beautifully!!! The buttons are the next recycling...these are very special to me, they belonged to my Great Grandmother. Mum sent them over to me, with others...so keep your eyes out for the rest, they are stunning and very old. Then of course there is the lace, which is hand picked off a doily from the thrift shop.
I have also used nail bling on the photo, I love this as it is more subtle than normal bling - it doesn't seem to scream at you 'Look at me, look at me!' That is about it really, so I hope you like what I have done here....thanks for looking and for each comment, I appreciate it!!!
I have taken this photo at a different angle as it just didn't photograph right straight on - hope you can see it all properly - what do you think?!?!

Linda, I love your card, and even more the story of how it came to be! What a heart you have (must have got that from your mum!). I love the touch of the old buttons. My mom saved those too and now I use then in special projects. Everything is so lovely on this card- what a treasure! tfs

You know, Linda, you are growing so fast as a stamp/paper artist! It is wonderful to watch as Pat already said. This card is so very charming, so full of love and a mysteriousness to it. Well done, my friend!
