Thanks Roxie for a great sketch challenge this week! I printed off the layout shown here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers and asked my Mom (we work together!) what she saw. Right away she saw a planter on a shelf....what a brilliant idea....until it took three hours to make it come to life!!!! The top panel, the planter, was cut from So Saffron, corner rounded the bottom, used Round Tab punch for planter's feet, stamped Polka Dot Posies for the three circles, decorated them with a gel pen, sponged the edges, and clear embossed the whole piece for a ceramic look. The 'shelf' was stamped with Weathered and sponged in Chocolate Chip. The flowers and leaves were punched with Spring Flower Punch and small circle punch. The spikes were cut by hand and painted with gel pen to look variagated. Thanks for looking and as always, appreciate your comments!!!!

oh my, your 3 hours of work on this was worth it! I love that you turned the sketch into something like a planter! It really looks like pottery and your variegated leaves are wonderful. Great job Angella!
