Another SSC08 challenge card. This time for Jennifer Bucks "Quick Card" challenge and blog candy. Again, celebrating notimetostamps 12 Days of Celebration for her one millionth hit on her awesome blog.
I started by cutting a 6"x6" piece of Basic Grey "Figgy" DP into 4, 3"x3" pieces. I then outlined the poinsettia blooms with Sakura glaze pen and added Sakura clear stardust pen to the centers of all the flowers, snowflakes, etc. Very pretty IRL. I got my paper from Jacksonbelle Embellishments, so just had to use faux sewing around the main DP image. The textured Baja Breeze and taffeta ribbon easily added more dimension and interest. This card was so easy that I made four 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" cards in about an hour. Even love the results.

Oh what a gorgeous card this is. I absolutely love it, the paper is perfect. The glitter pens certainly glitz things up. Where did you get a gold one, all I have is the white or clear one. This is going in my favs. Such a simple card but so elegant. TFS

Fantastic card, Nancy! I love the combination of baja and rh red! Combined with the DP, you came up with a great card! It might be simple, but it's oh so classy!
