I had been putting off and putting off making my holiday cards and when I saw those marvelous glass pendants from yesterday's inspiration challenge I found what I was looking for. Here's the pendant I chose to start from:
My punched snowman was done with a 1" square and the word window punch in black for the hat, and a 1 1/2" circle punch in whisper white for the face. The nose is a sliver of tangerine tango and the eyes and nose have been hand drawn. I also added a bit of sparkle on the hat band and his eyes with a glitter gel pen. The baja background was stamped with the bold snowflake jumbo wheel in whisper white and then clear embossed. The white background was inked with the same wheel in the baja ink.
I started last night and have managed to make 32 of them, just finishing this afternoon. Some of them are facing right, some are facing left, and no two look exactly alike. Over all I'm quite pleased.
Thanks Steph for supplying the perfect inspiration for me to get this project done!
