Are your tiles glazed or unglazed? We are trying to do theese for a Stampin Up retirement party and we are having trouble with the Stazon coming right off when you attempt to color them. Any clues you can give me would be helpful.
Thanks,
Chris

These are glazed...i believe...cuz you can wipe off the stazon if you make a mistake with stazon cleaner. They come on a sheet 12x12 so you get 36 tiles. I just broke them apart, cut off the excess glue with a knife. You must bake them after you stamp your image....10-15 min 350degrees ( i put them in my toaster oven). Let them cool...and then color with sharpies or brush and ink. Bake again to set the color...and then seal...but you dont have to seal since they are just magnets and liquids wont be touching themThe only color i had trouble with was sharpie yellow...so we used classic ink instead. hope that helps!! What kind of sealer are you using? I went to Lowes and bought all kinds of different tiles and haven't had much success when it comes time to seal them. I tried to dry them with a heat gun and baked them in the oven, but when I apply the sealer the color runs on most of the tiles. I've tried a porcelain glaze and acrylic gloss sealer and I get the same results with both. Is there a trick or am I using the wrong products?? Thanks for your help.
