I had so much fun with this card! I've been stamping for years, but never tried the cracked glass technique...until now...and I'm hooked.
I used the Top Note Bigz Die and stamped the house from Home for the Holidays and the skaters from Winter Post, then masked them and stamped the tall pine from Lovely as a Tree. Everything is colored with blender pens and classic ink pads, except the sky which was sponged in Baja Breeze. The Baja was a little too light and yellowed during the embossing process. I'm lightly sponging Not Quite Navy instead, on my Christmas cards.
The white snowflakes (from Holiday Collection - Country Living set) were done with StazOn white, on Not Quite Navy cs. The card base is Very Vanilla with tons of Close to Cocoa and Not Quite Navy snowflakes (also from Holiday Collection). The snowflakes were all stamped off randomly to varying degrees.
I also used a white Signo gel pen to "whiten" some of the snow, especially on the steps and the little tree.
TFL!
